Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of myDinnerPlan. By creating an account or using the service, you agree to them.
1 Agreement to Terms
myDinnerPlan is a household meal planning service operated at myDinnerPlan.com. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) form a binding agreement between you and myDinnerPlan. If you do not agree, do not create an account or use the service. Payments are processed by our payment provider; see Stripe’s consumer terms for payment-processing disclosures that apply when you pay by card.
2 The Service
myDinnerPlan provides software tools for saving recipes, planning weekly dinners, generating shopping lists, managing pantry items, coordinating household members, and optional email or SMS reminders. Features may change as we improve the product. We do not sell physical meal kits or groceries through this service.
3 Accounts & Eligibility
You must provide accurate registration information and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account. You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction (or have a parent or guardian’s consent). Household planners who add member contact details confirm they have permission to do so.
4 Subscriptions & Billing
Some features may require a paid subscription. Prices, billing periods, and plan details are shown at checkout. Unless stated otherwise, subscriptions renew automatically until you cancel. Taxes may apply. Payment processing is handled by our payment provider (for example, Stripe) subject to their terms.
Cancellation and refund rules are described in our Cancellation Policy and Refund & Dispute Policy.
5 Promotions
Promo codes and free trials are subject to additional rules and may be changed or ended at any time. See our Promotion Terms for details.
6 Your Content
You retain ownership of recipes and other content you submit. You grant myDinnerPlan a license to host, display, and process that content solely to operate and improve the service. If you share a recipe publicly, it may appear in the public library only after administrator review and approval, as described in our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the rights to submit the content and that it does not infringe others’ rights or violate law.
7 Acceptable Use
You agree not to misuse the service, including by attempting unauthorized access, disrupting systems, scraping at abusive rates, sending spam through notification features, uploading malware, or using the service for unlawful purposes. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
8 Privacy
How we collect and use personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. By using myDinnerPlan, you acknowledge that policy.
9 Disclaimers
myDinnerPlan is a planning tool. Recipe suggestions, nutrition-related information, allergen notes, and shopping guidance are provided for convenience and may contain errors. Always use your own judgment for food safety, dietary needs, and cooking. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
10 Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, myDinnerPlan and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for lost profits, data, or goodwill arising from your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amounts you paid us for the service in the twelve months before the claim, or fifty U.S. dollars if you have not paid us.
11 Termination
You may stop using the service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms or if we discontinue the service. Provisions that by nature should survive (including ownership, disclaimers, and liability limits) will survive termination.
12 Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date below will change when we do. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised Terms. Material changes may also be communicated by email or in-product notice when appropriate.
